This was my craft table this morning...well, honestly, this is what it looks like too many mornings when I am in creating mode...
My handy little husband made me the table and the chair and Skippy Jo is up there supervising more often than he is really needed. So much stuff that I really do try to keep corralled!
And lots of stuff that just makes me happy - like this...
After a day of tidying it looks like this...
Please tell me you can notice a difference.
Now, you may be asking how I produce such wonderful and amazing craftiness with what you see here. Well, there are a few other places that I have supplies stashed. Different rooms. Wanna see?
The 'spare' room. How did it ever get that name? Who has rooms to spare?
Not me, for sure!
And the built in book case in the living room. Had to get rid of some books to have room
for the plastic storage tubs...all nicely organized by color of felt or by craft,
thank you very much.
There are things tucked in a few more places that were just a bit
too embarrassing to show you.
:-)
A happy little Christmas tree...home from school, but not put away yet.
Oh, yes. I have big plans for the craft space in the new home...BIG plans! Can hardly wait.

Donna, thanks for sharing...I do see a difference from photo 1 to 2 of craft table - no cat in photo 2! (just playing with you) I will look forward to more space/organizing postings. We are adding onto our house with a studio for moi on the second floor. I am soooo excited. XOX ellen
ellen, mine will be the second floor of our house, too....only that and storage! Oh, yeah!
I really do have stuff pretty organized, just no place to put it all...well, no one place. How exciting that you are building on a studio for you! What manner of loveliness will you be creating up there? Do share!
Someday........ I'm gonna have a craft room too. Right now, I'm like you. I have stuff stashed all over my house and garage. Someday.....
And yes, I can tell a difference after you cleaned. :D Very nice.
Your crafting supplies are staggering. I mean, what CAN'T you craft with your heart and skills, and all of those supplies? Did you make all of those baskets???? I'm drooling over them. Baskets are a favourite for me. And wooden bowls. And buttons. And felt. And wool. And woodworking, I am both in love with and terrified of it. I hope to have a dedicated crafting space & wood shop someday. I might even share my wood shop with my husband, especially if he'll build me a FABULOUS chair like yours. So much love for that earthy, twiggy chair.
Wabi, I LOVE my twig chair and am hinting mightily for more such beauty in the new home.
I did make the baskets...another of my crafts.
I don't know if you could see my jars of buttons. My collection is small and people never believe me when I say that's what I want for a gift.
I love all the things you love...except I won't ever be a knitter like you.
Mos of those tall tote stacks are basket weaving reed and frames for my woolies....and the most of the rest is felt/wool...sorted by color, of course!
Someday we will have to do a studio tour of each other's studios!
My little husband filled up the garage/basement before me so all my stuff is upstairs! I just want a place where I don't have to put it all away until I'm done...
Glad you can tell a difference! "D Hard work, that!
Oh, mercy, Donna!! You are so organized! I'm most impressed. And, I love Stella gaily galloping along on Gozo!! =D They would spur some joyful creativity! blessings and hugs ~ tanna
Do you really think so, Tanna? I love having it all in sight and with in an arm's reach. Might just need a bigger table and longer arms! Hugs to you, too. <3 d.
You gots me beat for neat. But GOZO with the adorable collar - and that wondeful (if disturbing) cat! Hotcha!! It really looks like a fun area to be in -and it faces a window. How people can work at desks that face a wall is beyond me!
Today Stella is riding side saddle because Skippy Jo knocked her off at some point!
I love having the window to look out and the light is great until it's not...
I made Gozo's collar for a bracelet, but it looks better on her!
And neat? You saw the first picture, right?
:-)
I'm glad you posted this. I'm in the process of trying to organize craft storage in our 'spare' room. Love the color sorted felt. WAY organized! Inspiration is always appreciated.
I definitely see a difference between the photos. An amazing, incredible difference.. :)
Blessings, Debbie
