It is that time of the year. Yesterday was all about spring, but this is a quintessential fall phenomenon.
What fun God must have had creating each of his natural wonders.
Almost as much fun as I had spinning in circles and spreading these wish upons! Find you joy, spin in circles like no one is watching...no one was watching, right?
Beautiful photos. Our milkweeds are spent already, and you remind me that I must get those photos up sometime. We discovered a patch THICK of wish upons, the silkiest heaps of fluff ever. It was incredible working with the two littlest children, setting armfuls of those wishes free.
Only the one who invented spinning. How FUN! How beautiful those broken pods are. Which invites metaphor and some very serious spiritual thought. Much love!
Tanna, these are the seed pods of the milkweed plant. Do you remember seeing the pictures of them with the monarch caterpillars on them? WSW, did I miss the pictures of the littles in the milkweed? Kristen, now I am thinking about being broken open and going out into the world...leaving bit and blessings to grow into God's love...and still thinking...I love how you get me to do that.
No, you didn't miss them. STILL haven't got them posted. Life is pulling my attention away from blogging lately. Which, I gotta say, I miss. And, oh that K and her thought inducing metaphors!
WSW...I am feeling a bit of the crunch myself. Little husband and I have decided what we want to make for Christmas gifts, but haven't started! But, it's good to have a plan that can be adjusted as needed!
