...to my sweet friend, Saundra. We go to church together and serve on many activities together. She is amazing and turning 80!
I can only hope....
She is very creative and so something from my hands to hers was needed.
A little candle pin was created.
Hope she loves it and has a wonder filled birthday tomorrow.

Happy birthday to your dear friend Saundra! May our gracious Lord continue to bless her and may your friendship blossom more as you do many activities together.
I hope I can get to know you better as I visit your blog regular in the days to come. Would you care to follow each other's blog?
Take care! :D
Hello Farida...I will surely go and follow your blog. I love making blog friends. Going right now. Thanks for reading my blog! I always try to comment on the comments so come back and check....
Wonder filled. WONDER FILLED - that's great. It opens the expression up and gives it back its true character. And the candle is lovely and magical, as I suspect Sandra is herself. The name, though, makes me think she's maybe nine, or eleven - that's when I first heard it, so it always sounds young to me. And makes me think about how we get to be young again after all this -
Kristen, Saundra would be thrilled with your assessment, although she is equally proud of turning 80 tomorrow! She is a magical person...with enough energy and enthusiasm for at least two 40 year olds. Her two daughters are taking her to Pittsburgh to hear the symphony tomorrow.
The candle is only about 2 and 1/2 inches tall...very user friendly!
I am also a follower now. I too have an acquired disability (SCI die to vehicular accident). Thank you for the virtual friendship. I will be back regularly :D God bless!
Welcome. Wondering how you found me...
Happy Birthday to your friend, Saundra! What a beautiful gift you have made for her.
