Colors!

These are most likely my favorite colors....today...along with yellow....and purple....
But these are my most favorite.
Today.
The magic season of burst and blossom.
When once again God says, "Continue."
The gentle turn from black and white to green and green
and ever more shades of green.
 Life.  Abundant. Vibrant.  Fragile.  Fleeting.
When once again God says, "Live."
See beauty in the tiny.
See possibility and promise and future fruits.
When once again God says, "I love you...just this much!"

And this is spring in another color palate.
The ornamental red maple with early morning
sun shining through.

Thank you, God for spring!

So pretty. God's artwork is awesome. Waiting for your new post seemed to be as long as our winter. Glad you are back!

Amen and amen and amen. Such beautiful words and photos, Donna... you said it perfectly. And, God illustrated it perfectly. He is so good to us. Blessings and hugs, dear one! tanna

Oh wow!! That ornamental maple is just gorgeous! When I first saw the photo I thought you were going to say something about fall but that is spring! I've not seen anything like it!

It is only about 3 feet tall and it is a lacy beautiful red until the sun shines through and sets it all afire! We want to dig it up and move it to La Ti Da....

I'm glad you are going to take it with you!

Yes, I thought the last photo was going to be reference to autumn as well. Funny that spring can carry such a strong reminder of autumn. Seasons, they make my heart sing. And yearn.

Oh, me too about Autumn, but I'm glad you didn't. By the way - that was as lovely a piece of poetry as I have yet read, Keats not withstanding. And it would make a lovely hymn, too, actually. I am home from my wild birthday surprise and will write it up later today when I remember how to be home again.

Thanks for noticing the poem, too! I have always thought that spring is almost as colorful as fall...at least around here. Just like in the fall, each tree has it's spring colors and right now the hills are alive! Can't wait to hear about your adventures.
