My little husband's little brother came on his day off to help.
The first half of my steps...I am so impressed my little husband can figure this out!

The deer and
the raccoons came.
So, tomorrow we will put in some windows and maybe build some stairs...it was a balmy 72 degrees today, but rainy. Hope the cool stays and the rain goes!

Forging Forward!! Things taking shape!! Stairs inside or outside? Brick wall outside? Deer outside? Raccoons inside. Amazing, all of it.
Brick wall is the dividing wall between the sleeping area and the living area and the stairs will take me upstairs to my STUDIO! The deer and the raccoons were outside. The racs were visiting our "lunch" table.
Oh, wouldn't they just? I'd be surprised if they didn't try taking apart the brick wall to find more. Just don't mess with them. I've seen what happens when they feel cornered, and I NEVER WANT TO SEE THAT AGAIN.
Yikes. There's a story waiting to be told there. We never leave food out there, but there must have been some crumbs. Maybe I don't want to hear the story if a dog got hurt.
